Soy Canada is the national commodity association representing the full soybean supply chain in Canada including producers, grain handlers, processors, farm suppliers and exporters. Soybeans are a quickly expanding crop in Canada, seeded to 5.5 million acres in 2014 producing over 6 million tonnes. Soybeans are Canada’s 4th largest crop by seeded acreage, returning $2.4 billion to Canadian farmers.

Soy Canada’s membership comprises members of the former Canadian Soybean Council, representing producers and the former Canadian Soybean Exporters Association, representing exporters. These two associations have united within Soy Canada and are joined by seed development companies, processors and other industry stakeholders to provide a single, focused association committed to he growth and development of soybeans in Canada.
